NANTWICH Town had a successful Bank Holiday weekend with a point earned in a 0-0 draw at Clitheroe on Saturday and a 4-0 thrashing of Atherton Collieries at home on Monday.

Manager Paul Cuddy started the rout on 16 minutes followed by goals from Andy Gale on 70 minutes, Griggs on 84 minutes after an impressive build up by sub Danny Collins and Lyndon Hall after 87 minutes.

This Saturday sees the Dabbers take on Stewarts and Lloyds in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup, kick off 3pm.

Hopes are high for a big attendence for this crucial tie, especially with Crewe having no match.
