NORTHWICH Guardian chief reporter Chris Reed has left the paper, on a mission to the other side of the world.
For Chris and his wife Jennifer Kain have jetted off to settle 'Down Under' in New Zealand.
Chris, who was our chief reporter for more than two years, began his career as a reporter on the Winsford & Middlewich Guardian, and also served as sports editor on both papers.
He'll be living in New Zealand for the next 18 months, but hasn't ruled out staying there indefinitely.
His replacement at our Market Street offices is Nick Hallissey, who has been a Guardian reporter for two years.
Nick is now the news editor for the Northwich and Winsford & Middlewich editions.
