THE LINNETS suffered their fourth defeat in five games on Saturday with a 1-3 defeat by early league leaders Emley and then crashed 2-0 away at Banber Bridge.
Robert Tonks bagged a brace after Darren Day put the visitors on level pegging shortly after the break after an own-goal by Nicky Wood gave Runcorn a first-half advantage.
The home side dominated in the opening period and should have capitalised on Emley's fifth minute misfortune but let their heads drop after Day's deflected equaliser.
With just over ten minutes to go Linnets full-back Danny Salt let in Tonks for his first after making a mess of chesting the ball back to keeper Richard Acton.
Tonks got his second minutes later when he got on the end of a right wing cross and fired home to secure the points and joint top spot in the Unibond Premier Division.
