Congleton 2nds 3
Moore 2nds 12
WITH the Moss Lane pitches waterlogged, Moore's only game last week was the second team encounter at Congleton.
Despite playing on a heavy pitch, in poor weather conditions and falling behind to an early penalty Moore were the better side and could have won by a higher margin.
Colin Stephenson playing at stand-off, rather than his normal role at centre, scored both Moore's tries and Graham Potter kicked one conversion.
Darren Cunningham revelled in the conditions and was the pick of the Moore players.
Next week Moore will be back in league action at Bowden.
