Dun Cow managers Ian and Marie Brocklehurst will now pay for the first three miles of their customers' cab fares home.
So Knutsford residents, who only live two miles away from the pub Chelford Road, will get a free lift.
The scheme, running from Monday to Thursday, will mean Christmas revellers can drink without worrying about the drive home.
"We are a rural pub so our customers obviously need transport to get to us," said Ian.
"By helping to get people home we are aiming to ensure that they enjoy their evening while keeping the roads safe."
Inspector David Griffin said anything which discouraged drink-driving was a good idea.
"Anything that gets the road safety message home, especially over the Christmas and millennium period, is very welcome," he said.
The scheme will continue into the New Year.
