RESIDENTS who want to have their say about Brunner Mond's proposals for an urban village are invited to an information evening next.

The chemical giant says it has organised the event at Winnington Park Recreation Club next Tuesday, October 2, in a bid to keep people informed about development plans for its disused land.

Brunner Mond staff will be available between 6.30pm and 9pm to discuss proposals for a riverside urban village on 90 acres of derelict land at the company's Wallerscote site in Winnington.

The outline plan for the village includes more than 1,000 homes, places of work, landscaped areas and community facilities.
