FRODSHAM Golf Club will compete in the county final of the Rules of Golf'competition organised by the Royal and Ancient at St Andrews.
The venue is Bromborough Golf Club on Wednesday, September 26.
A win would put the team in the regional final and, just two games away from the final at St Andrews.
Frodsham reached the final in 1996 and are hoping to repeat that excellent achievement.
This is a national trophy and brings great prestige to the winning club.
Team members are Martin Flett, Rosemary Murphy, Paul Sturgeon, Ken Rothwell and Alan Colquoon.
