STAFF at a Winsford supermarket had a messy time last week all in aid of a very good cause.
Brave Alison Eddleston, who works at Asda Winsford, did a sponsored dip in a bath of pink blancmange for Breast Cancer Care.
With moral support from Winsford Town Mayor Brenda Mooney, Alison sat in the bath for three hours.
Alison said: "I actually enjoyed doing it and it was for a good cause so that made it all worthwhile."
The fund-raising event comes after the supermarket has supported the charity for five years for its tickled pink' campaign.
Store manager Kevin Wise said: "We're thrilled to bits with the sum of money we've raised this year and I'd like to thank all our customers for their support.
"Throughout our campaign I hope we have managed to raise awareness of breast cancer and I'm very proud that once again my colleagues have risen to the challenge for Breast Cancer Care."
