WINSFORD Civic Hall will be the place to go for a trip down Penny Lane next month.

The other' Beatles will be keeping the legend alive with their millennium tour on Saturday, October 13.

The two-hour show comprises of two halves, each incorporating a change of costume and covering each era of the Beatles career.

The show opens circa 1963 with the band performing all the early hits such as Love me Do, She Loves You and I Wanna Hold Your Hand, while dressed in the now-famous Beatle suits.

Hits such as A Hard Day's Night, I Feel Fine and Help! will cover the Beatlemania period in 1966, while the band will then change into Sgt Pepper costumes to perform classic tracks such as All you Need is Love and Strawberry Fields Forever.

Another change of costume will take the audience up to the end of the Beatles' recording career, between 1968 and 1970, featuring songs from The White Album and Abbey Road, and ending on a rousing finale of Let it Be.

The other' Beatles show has been described as one of the most accurate Beatles shows ever staged.

Every member of the band is a genuine life-long self-confessed Beatle anorak and every mannerism, costume, amplifier, instrument and sound is said to be as close to the original fab four as possible.

Tickets for the event, which starts at 8pm, are priced £10 and £8 concessions.
