JOHN Galley became Knights Grange Veterans club champion with a gross score of 85 last week.
He won the G Brown Trophy for the best overall score, while Owen Gallagher won the Division One prize with a nett 75, after shooting a gross 93. Max Rowe was runner-up with 87-10=77.
William Ravenscroft was the Division Two winner with 98-22=76, Cyril Coy second on 98-20=78.
Knights Grange Golf Club held a President's Day Out tournament last week, a four-ball stabelford won by Alan Noble and Clayton Danskin.
They scored 41 points, two ahead of Peter Hughes and Dane Fletcher. Trevor Jones and Alan Perrin were third with 36.
Simon Cousins was the only player to hit the green from the tee on the sixth hole, thus winning a nearest the pin prize, something which Alan Noble also won on the 10th.
