WIDNES based band The Blind Lemons are busy performing live in a series of concerts to coincide with the release of their new CD The Pelican EP.
They have developed their own sound into a distinctive guitar driven indie-pop fusion emanating powerful, catchy songs which harness the band's passionate energy.
They have become regulars on the national gig circuit, playing many of the country's leading venues such as The Lomax, Liverpool and The Life Caf, Manchester.
Their new CD contains five of the band's own recordings, which will be familiar to people who watched them perform at Widstock in Victoria Park.
The band will be on stage at The Village Social Club, Appleton, Widnes, on Monday, October 1. Admission is £2 on the door.
