ONE of the UK's leading drama companies is coming to Halton next week.

Look Back In Anger is being performed on Wednesday, October 3, at 7.30pm in the Queens Hall, Widnes by London Classic Theatre Company.

It was first presented in 1956 and established John Osborne as one of the century's leading dramatists with its ruthlessly accurate portrayal of disaffected youth.

Jimmy Porter sits in his armchair and rages against the world, his anger mirroring the anguish and uncertainty of a generation in search of itself.

In its radical exploration of class, sex and relationships, Osborne's remarkable play is as powerful today as when it was first performed.

We have teamed up with the Queens Hall to give away two pairs of tickets.
