MAY I ask, through the Guardian, if any of your readers know of a picture or print of Warrington's first Member of Parliament, Mr Edmund George Hornby?
He lived between 1799 and 1865, and in 1832 was elected as the first person to represent Warrington. His stay in Parliament was short, however; he sat for three years only.
I shall be most grateful for any information any reader might have.
