EMBROIDERY enthusiast Jackie Henderson is looking to set up a new group for people with a similar passion.
Mrs Henderson moved into Alsager 12 months ago from Altrincham, where she was a member of the Embroiderers' Guild.
She is planning to start an Alsager branch of the guild, and hopes to run monthly meetings at the town's library.
"There is a daytime meeting at Audlem, which is full, and one at Tunstall in the evening which still has places," said Mrs Henderson, from Sandbach Road North.
"However there are a lot of people who don't want to go out in the evening, especially in the winter months."
The new Alsager branch is due to meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 2pm in the upstairs room in the library, the first of which is on October 9.
"I run a small embroidery group for the Alsager U3A, and we need a minimum of 15 people to start a branch of the guild," said Mrs Henderson.
