THIS Friday at Crewe Lyceum, the sound and atmosphere of The Carpenters will be recreated.
In 1969, Karen and Richard Carpenter arrived on the music scene with a pure sound that was to change the face of popular music forever.
Wendy Roberts and musical director, David Jenkins, have recreated the sound of the famous group.
This event, entitled The Original Tribute To The Carpenters', is much more than a tribute and follows one of the greatest musical stories.
The show also features David Jenkins's seven-piece orchestra and Wendy's performance as Karen Carpenter has been described as astonishing', moving', and even eerie'.
The performance takes place tomorrow, Friday, September 28, beginning at 8pm.
Tickets are priced between £9.50 and £11.50 with concessions and group rates available.
To book seats you can contact The Lyceum on 537333.
