JUST released on video Miss Congeniality is Sandra Bullock at her comedic best.
This typical comedy film stars Bullock as Federal Agent, Gracie Hart, a tough-talking tomboy who after messing up big time is assigned to deskwork.
However, when terrorists threaten to target the Miss USA Beauty pageant, Hart is the only one who can go undercover as an entrant to find the culprits.
So what follows is a mixture of comedy, mainly Hart getting used to feminine ways, (i.e., heels).
After plenty of initial mishaps involving the other dimwitted contestants and Michael Caine, playing the man assigned to turning Hart into a lady, Gracie is soon on the trail of an assassin.
Bullock is fantastic as the screwball agent who follows her instincts and tries to save the day in a quite satisfyingly funny film.
