A PENKETH teenager hopes to see her name in lights and star in a comedy drama such as Cold Feet after landing a place on a prestigious drama course.
Danielle Tucker, of Station Road, who has been acting since she was five, will attend the sought-after Birmingham School of Speech and Drama to do a specialist acting degree after many auditions and hard work trying to raise finance.
There are just 30 places on the course, but no grants, so the former Great Sankey High School pupil wrote to hundreds of companies looking for help.
But it was Winwick Quay installation company CJ Services, where she had done work experience, which gave her the bulk of the money she needed to raise.
