A FRESH appeal has been made for witnesses of an assault in Warrington town centre at the start of September.
A 25-year-old man was out with two friends on Saturday, September 1 at midnight, when he was attacked and assaulted and suffered head and stomach injuries.
He was taken by ambulance to Warrington Hospital, where he was treated and detained.
Anyone who witnessed the incident should call Warrington CID on 652222 or the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
