PEOPLE are being invited to join a fundraising scheme to support the restoration of their local church.
The Historic Cheshire Churches Preservation Trust is asking people to support churches across the region by becoming a friend'.
The trust raises funds to enable restoration work to be made to historic churches of all denominations and the friend' scheme has been introduced as a way of allowing more people to take an active interest in the work.
Friends receive a newsletter, progress reports, and are invited to special events.
It costs £15 to join, and anyone interested in finding out more can call 01244 382964.
