A NORTH west MEP has raised concerns about aviation safety in the light of the terrorist attacks in America.
Sir Robert Atkins is calling for security to be tightened at airports and on planes, and that the measures be consistent throughout Europe. He plans to raise the matter at the next meeting of the European Parliament's transport committee.
