ROVERS bounced back to winning ways on Saturday with a memorable 39-8 victory over Oldham St. Annes in the National Conference League Premier Division.
The side were unrecognisable from recent weeks but they turned in a performance that will make the rest of the league sit up and take notice.
Woolston's try scorers were Dave Patterson, who scored from 40-yards out, Richard Smith, who pounced from close range, Jon Cole, who went over in the corner following great build-up play and man of the match Graham Smith, who scampered between the posts after collecting a precision pass by Daniel Heaton.
Mark Wallington and Drew Povey added further touch downs late on.
