LATCHFORD edged out Crosfields in a thrill a minute derby' game.

Crosfields had the better of the earlier exchanges and they took the lead with converted tries from Goulding and two from their best player, Crowley.

Latchford replied through tries by player of the match Hewitt, four and Antell.

Crosfields then wrapped up victory with two tries by Beswick.

LATCHFORD had to work hard to overcome a determined Heysham side.

Tries were shared throughout the team with Ryan Main, Sam Jones, Jack Cooper, Robert Chance, Ross Pendlebury and Joe Mellor all featuring on the scoresheet.

In defence, Leather, Houghton, Hall, Britton and Allen were outstanding while Bryant, Hudson and Harman produced good all round performances.
