BRICKMAKERS came back from a two-goal deficit in Warrington Sunday Soccer League Division Four thanks to super-sub Tony Hill.
He came on when Brickmakers were 5-3 down to Jolly Falstaffe and scored two goals in a dramatic finale. Other scorers were John Roberts, Andy Daly and Martin Stanton. Falstaffe's hitmen were Ray Crozier, three, Rob Howard and Jamie Marsh.
Knights won at Wolf Pack, 4-2, thanks to goals from Lee Kinsey, Tony Norman, Dave Hill and George Betts.
A hat-trick by Gavin May and one apiece for Anthony Lewin and Jamie Sudworth gave Woodies a home win over Spa Brook, 5-3.
In the Premier Division, Halton Arms saw off Grange Valley 2-1 with goals by Wes Cannon and Carl Briggs.
Latchford Railway's 3-0 win at Matthiola kept them top of Division One. Rail, who have not dropped a point yet, scored goals via Mark Quinn, two and James Rosa.
Wellie kept their 100 per cent record by beating Leigh Borough 4-2 with goals from Shaun Farrell, two, Mark Stanton and Kevin Gould. Replies for Leigh came from Ste Birchall and Mark Gannon.
Strikes
Unbeaten Pierpoints defeated Butchers Arms 3-0 with goals from Dave Holmes, James O'Shea and Paul Fearnley.
A brace for Bath Springs' Jimmy Lee was not enough as they went down 4-2 at London Bridge after strikes by Dave Daniels, two, Francis Egan and Danny Salt.
In Division Two, hat-trick boy Dave Best gave Greenall Walkers points against Poacher, 3-1. Poacher's Chris McPherson netted.
Stocks won at Causeway, 2-1. Causeway's goal was courtesy of John Ellis but James Forshaw and Rob Haley sealed it.
Stretton inflicted the first defeat of the season on Grange Hawthorne 5-2 in Division Three with goals from Philip Knowles, two, Matt Jackson, Jeremy Glover and Chris Ward. Grange replied through Matt Henning and Bobby Nock.
St. Oswalds beat Gas Social 3-0 with Paul Wheeldon, Liam McCue and Carl Briggs scoring.
Woolston OB were trailing Tully Park Rangers 2-0 thanks to two excellent goals from Martin Edwards until Dave Holden scored from the penalty spot. In the last two minutes Rob Farrington netted the equalizer.
