IT is now 'time for appeal' and we have a two-month objection period. We are writing to you all regarding the proposed closure of Parr High School.

After months of hard work from us all we are in our final stage regarding the school and now we are pleading with you all to write your letters of objection once the statutory notices have been issued.

We continuously stress to you all that we won't give up our fight to save this fabulous school and to have a good chance of keeping our school open we ask you PLEASE would you write your letters of objections to say why you don't want Parr High to close. We need your support!

We have two months to object and the School Standards Committee will make the final decision in December and if no decision can be made then it will be passed on to an adjudicating officer who will make the decision based on all of the evidence given.

We need your support. Please would you write letters of objections. We plead with your good nature to support us. We now have full support from Parr and Blackbrook Alliance and Ashtons Green Residents Association. We are all supporting our school to the very end and we hope you will. It's our final chance. PLEASE, PLEASE don't let a fabulous school like Parr High close.

Remember please only write your letters of objections when the statutory notices are issued. Please write on your letters your full name and address and put on the envelope the following: (For the attention of the School Standards Committee), Mr J Skinley, Forward Planning Section, The Rivington Centre, Rivington Road, St Helens, Merseyside WA10 4ND.

We hope you will all support us and we thank you all for your support so far. Thank you once again and let's keep Parr High OPEN.

S.O.S. Committee, Parr High School (name supplied).
