NANTWICH Town maintained their recent revival with an excellent 2-1 victory at mid-table Ramsbottom United.
Management duo Nigel Gleghorn and Eddie Bishop are having more than just a hand in it too after combining for both goals.
The dream start arrived as Gleghorn's pinpoint cross was turned home by the assistant boss from close range.on 5 minutes
A contested penalty led to an equaliser on the half-hour mark but the Dabbers were back in front as the two combined again with Bishop's bullet header in the back of the net on 44 minutes.
Ramsbottom went on the assault in the second half but the woodwork and bad finishing cost them dear.
"We played very well and it was a real workmanlike display," said Gleghorn.
"The players responded to the tactics we employed excellently and we're definitely improving.
"We rode our luck a little in the second half but I think we've deserved a break after all that's happened to us, this season."
Nantwich face Clitheroe at Jackson Avenue, this Saturday.
