A FAMILY has made an appeal for help in finding their lost cat.

Four-year-old Poppy, a black and brown tortoiseshell female, has been missing since Wednesday, January 16.

The cat, which also has a white chest, disappeared from its Queen Street home and has not been seen by its owners.

Carolyn Morris and her son Matthew, aged 11, and daughter Hayley, aged 8, are very anxious to find Poppy, who has been lost before, when she was found in a greenhouse.

Carolyn said: "I would ask people to look in their sheds and outhouses to see if she is hidden away anywhere."

The cat was lost in the Richmond Road end of Queen Street and if anyone has spotted her they are asked to contact 257845.
