THREE local projects are set to benefit from the Community Initiative Fund.
The Council Board has approved awards totalling £1,690.
Crewe FC will receive £1,000 to extend their coaching schemes for youngsters, start a girl's football team and provide support for the Youth Football Association League.
A public evening of scientific entertainment, entitled Set Up Science, will be performed at the Danebank Theatre, South Cheshire College, on March 16 thanks to the Fund's granting of a £190 award.
Marshfield Greenwatch Group is developing an area of land to the rear of the Marshfield Bank Business Park into a community wildlife area.
An award of £500 will assist tree and wild flower planting along with the construction of a viewing platform.
