FC Tavern defeated Todd Dynamoes 3-2 and Halewood Athletic remained second after defeating close rivals Hydes 2-0 with goals from Thompson and Murray. Ogier scored for Boars Head but it wasn't enough as they went down 2-1 to 10 man Majors.
In the Second Division, Wilsons United kept up the pressure on the leaders by defeating Kingsthorne 6-2 with goals from D Jones, W Jones (2), Taylor and McCutheon (2).
Royston Vasey Locals defeated Cholmondeley Arms 1-0 with the goal coming from Edmonton and Boyd and Elliot scored for Fiddlers III in their 2-1 defeat of Old Rec & Sports.
Grapes defeated BT Cellnet 7-0 with goals from Nelson (3), Howell, Roberts, Baker and Frodsham and Prospect enjoyed a 4-2 victory over Weaver Wanderers.
