THE story of Alan Turing, the man who broke the German Enigma code during the Second World War, is told in 'Breaking the Code', at Chester's Gateway Theatre on February 7 - March 2.
Turing shattered the British code of decency when it was revealed that he was a homosexual, at a time when it was still a criminal offence.
Richard Derrington, who played Mark Hebden in The Archers, plays Turing.
