NEXT Tuesday sees the feminine touch at Crewe's Limelight Club as well as a minor television celebrity!

But don't be fooled! The music of 'Angel One Five' is nothing to take lightly as this five-piece rock band oozes charisma and musical talent as well as a strong rock ethic.

Leading the band is Australian-born singer and songwriter Fiona Shaw, who may well be better known to some for when she played the role of Patsy in Aussie soap 'Prisoner Cell Block H'.

Fiona has played many roles in television and film including working for Meatloaf, Robert Palmer, Michael Jackson and Elton John.

The band has produced its own CD and this will be available on the night. It features four tracks and these typify the group's style.

The four track CD features 'Don't Wait For Me', which has strong acoustic guitar and is led by Fiona's powerful voice. The track has a feeling of pop rock as opposed to grunge.

The second song 'Not Me' is faster as the group put their foot down and launch into full on rock music. The track also features a good solo.

'Long Way To Go' slows the pace and has remnants of the traditional rock of Bon Jovi and Whitesnake with solid harmonies and kicking guitar solos.

Finally, track four 'Family' is more gritty and hardcore with harsh lyrics, harsh singing and harsh guitar and a good interaction between the guitar and Fiona's voice.

The charismatic lead singer brings a combination of powerful vocals and sex appeal to the solid rock and surrounding Fiona's lyrical stylings are four top musicians.

Italian-born Gabriel Nuzzoli is the hard-hitting drummer with a talent on most percussion instruments and he has an esteemed past of his own having toured with Ricky Martin and the top Italian band 883.

Marco Abbatecola completes the tight rhythm section as the band's bass player. Marco is an experienced player and has featured in numerous blues festivals across the country.

Nick Frusco is the guitarist, disturbingly described as 'wild' and 'intense' and you can make of that what you will.

Giving the band the extra edge is Marco dalle Luche on keyboards. One of the best in the world the promoters would have us believe. He is very experienced having worked with numerous artists.

The band is on from 9.30pm on Tuesday, January 29 and tickets are £4 in advance.
