THE Wickermen will be weaving their magic when they come to Clancy's for the next in the line of increasingly popular Sunday-night gigs.

The Liverpool outfit has a strong reputation as one of the city's most sought after bands and Damian and the two Steve's will bring a varied list of hits as well as their own stuff to the Nantwich Road venue this weekend.

The group has been going for 10 years with its successful lead and bass guitar and drum combination and it has now added 'Huey', a renowned vocalist to the line-up.

Formerly of 'X'- a band with no name', Huey takes over the microphone leaving the lead guitarist free to practice his magic, and Clancy's manager Ray Bruchez, a good friend of the band, says his guitar playing is something special.

The songs on the play list for the night will more than likely include Hendrix, Pink Floyd, some of the early Beatles music, The Who, The Stones and a lot more besides.

Ray also warns it will be a very loud gig. Entry is free and things will begin to get busy from around 8.30pm.
