YOUNG bag packers are pictured presenting a cheque for £1,000 to Congleton Dane Rotary Club.
The Congleton Guides and Scouts coined in £1,890 by packing customers' bags at Safeway in the run-up to Christmas.
The money was given by the shoppers for the youngsters' help, with £1,000 going to the Dane club for its forthcoming Heartstart resuscitation event.
The rest of the money is to be used to promote local Guiding and Scouting.
