WITH sadness I have read of the desecration of headstones and graves at St Thomas' Cemetery and wonder how these evil people can operate without being caught. I can't remember when I saw a policeman in the area and yet for the past 18-months the Richmond Avenue bus shelter has been strewn with oil two or three times a week. It is impossible to sit there because of the oil on the seats and impossible to stand on the forecourt - the whole area is awash with oil. The police, county council and parish councillors have all been informed of this and yet nothing is being done.
