POST office customers in Congleton can take advantage of longer opening hours from next month.
Following the resignation of the subpostmaster for Buglawton the Buxton Road office is to move to the Londis convenience store in Havannah Street.
The Buxton Road office is to close at 5.30pm next Tuesday and reopen at Londis at 9am next Friday.
Customers are asked to use counter services at Bromley Road Post Office next Wednesday and Thursday while the changeover happens.
From February 14 the new post office will offer longer opening hours of 7am-9.30pm Monday to Saturday and 7.30am-9.30pm on Sundays.
The Londis store is owned by Lynda and John Stubbs, and is being extended to cater for the change.
The revamped store will feature a "combi counter," with three pay points, one for the post office and two retail.
Mrs Stubbs said the post office move to Londis would mean better parking and enable people to use it outside shop and office hours.
