I AM writing to support Angela Lewis' comments about dog fouling in last week's Congleton Guardian.
Congleton is a filthy town, with dog dirt everywhere, even in the town centre.
It really disgusts me to see it outside Safeway - what kind of person allows their dog to do its business outside a supermarket?
More to the point they allow their dogs to do it in the middle of night so they are never seen.
I live in Crescent Road, which is always filthy. I recently saw an elderly man let his dog foul the footpath close to the tennis courts in daylight.
He produced a bag, bent down and picked it up and threw it into the road.
I was too shocked to say anything, and it's a waste of time confronting owners, as they ignore you or give you a mouthful of filthy language.
It's time for serious action to be taken, as notices threatening owners are obviously not threatening enough.
