BRIDGE Inn No.5 were crowned Earlestown and District Darts and Dominoes League's pairs competition winners in front of a packed house at the Griffin.
They picked up their third title of the season after overcoming BRSA No.1 in a tense final.
Ste Jones wrapped up Bridge's 2-0 win after Tony Mawdsley had grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck.
Bridge reached the final after edging out Newton Social No.5 in the semi-finals.
Newton's R. Mather and P. Arnold took the first leg of the semi-final in 15 darts before the talented Bridge pair hit back in style.
BRSA No.1's route to the final included a comfortable semi-final victory over BRSA No.4.
A 15-darter and a 20-dart victory ensured that K. Woods and P. Ruane defeated W. Jones and D. Pojunas.
The league's next competition will be a domino pairs tournament on February 3, 7.30pm start.
