A WESTBROOK teenager has won an offer from one of Britain's top universities.
Evonnie Chan is hoping to read law at Brasenose College in Oxford - but has a lot of work to do before she gets there.
The Manchester High School pupil still has to get four straight A grades in her A-levels before she can hope to realise her ambition of going on to become a barrister practising criminal law.
Christine Lee Jones, her headteacher, said: "Evonnie has worked extremely hard to earn this offer and with yet more hard work we are confident she will succeed in her A-levels."
