Mrs Mary Greenway died of cancer on December 26, aged 69.
Mrs Greenway, of Whittlewood Close, Gorse Covert, was raised in Lymm along with three sisters and a brother.
She later became a resident of Thelwall and was a prominent member of the church and community for more than 30 years, before moving to Gorse Covert.
Mrs Greenway was employed as a company secretary at Wasey Exhausts for more than 25 years before exploring other avenues with Greenalls and English Partnerships.
She loved the outdoor life and was a keen walker and gardener, and she enjoyed being with her many friends and family around the country, whom she visited regularly.
Mrs Greenway was a devoted mother and grandmother and worked tirelessly to raise her three children single-handedly.
She leaves two daughters, a son and a grandson.
A service was held on December 31 at St Mary's Church, Lymm, prior to cremation at Walton Lea. The Rev Ron Biggin officiated.
All donations were sent to St Rocco's Hospice.
Arrangements were made by John Burrows & Sons, of Lymm.
