THE wedding has taken place at Christ Church, Padgate, of 32-year-old Mr Robert Joseph Deakin, only son of Norman and May Deakin, of Warrington Road, Risley, and 28-year-old Miss Janice Elizabeth Molyneaux, youngest daughter of Bill and Christine Molyneaux, of Devonshire Road, Padgate. The Rev Stephen Attwater officiated.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore an ivory duchesse satin A-line dress going into a full-length train, with threequarter-length sleeves edged in soft fur and a cowl neckline decorated with small pearls and diamante. Her full-length veil with diamante detail was secured by a silver tiara-style headdress. She carried a bouquet of ivory Bianca roses with green foliage and her jewellery consisted of diamond earrings and a diamante bracelet.

Best man was Christopher Sutch and groomsmen were Michael Gibbons and Phillip Grocott.

Matron of honour was Catherine Sutch, bride's sister, and bridesmaids were Rachel Pothecary, seven-year-old Suzannah Clark, four-year-old Robyn Hughes, bride's cousin's daughter, and seven-year-old Claire Perry, bridegroom's niece.

The bride is a receptionist for Direct Line Insurance, Manchester, and the bridegroom is a hydraulic engineer for Morrisons, in Liverpool.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Tenerife.

The bridegroom is a member of his local and Warrington table tennis teams.
