CUTE kitty Dale was left in a basket outside the Cats Protection League last September - and is now ready to be re-homed with a loving family.
The three-year-old cat was abandoned at their Slutcher's Lane HQ, suffering from a burnt left leg.
Volunteers at the Warrington centre said that his previous owners may not have been able to afford the vet's bill so dropped him off.
He is now up to date with his vaccinations, has had blood tests and health checks, and has been microchipped.
A centre spokesman said: "He is quite a timid cat until he gets to know you.
"He is looking for a home with no pets and no children and a lot of love to give.
"He loves a cuddle and a stroke but is still quite nervous."
