A MESMERISING psychological thriller, Under Suspicion grips viewers from the outset, as they are taken on a roller coaster ride of plot twists ... only to discover the truth is never what it seems.

Fast-paced and stimulating, the film features superb performances from two of Hollywood's finest actors Morgan Freeman and Gene Hackman, supported by stunning model and actress Monica Bellucci.

Hackman is reunited with Freeman for the first time since they co-starred in Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven while the film also stars Monica Bellucci as Hackman's beautiful wife, Chantal, and Thomas Jane, one of Hollywood's up and coming young stars,as Freeman's right-hand man, Detective Felix Owens.

Directed by Stephen Hopkins, The Ghost and the Darkness and Lost in Space, the film opens in hurricane-lashed, carnival-time Puerto Rico, where a killer of young girls is on the loose.

Three young girls have been murdered in the last month and Harry Hearst (Hackman), a rich and powerful lawyer on the island, discovers the body of the latest victim. When Captain Victor Benezet (Freeman), the chief of police, asks Hearst to clear up a couple of points about his discovery, it seems nothing more than routine.

Instead, Hearst is given the third degree, with a young cop Dectective Owen (Jane) probing into the dark secrets of the lawyer's private life, especially his sex life and relationship with his young and beautiful trophy wife.

The brash attorney's story starts to reveal a number of cracks,that only open wider and wider.

Under Suspicion is out to buy on VHS with Warner Home Video from February 25.
