A PEDESTRIAN has died following a collision on a Warrington road last week.
The accident happened shortly after 5pm on Thursday, January 17, on Mersey Street, when a Ford Fiesta collided with a pedestrian.
The man, who has not yet been named, was rushed to Warrington Hospital, but later died of his injuries.
Police are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to call PC Alan Morris on 01244 613865.
As the Guardian went to press, the coroner had not yet opened an inquest into the man's death.
