Royal Mail soccer side Tickle-d pink

WARRINGTON Royal Mail's soccer side hung on for dear life against Craigavon to reach the final of the National Ian Cruickshank Cup.

After storming into a 4-1 lead thanks to brilliant braces by Warrington Town star Dave Tickle and Tony Hales, their opponents from Northern Ireland moved up several gears to put Warrington on the back foot.

They were rewarded with two goals in the final 20 minutes before being awarded a penalty in injury time.

Fortunately for Warrington, Craigavon wasted the opportunity to take the game into extra time and Warrington will now meet the winners of Stock's Royal Mail side's game against Brighton.

Warrington's route to the final, which will be played on March 28, includes a 2-1 victory over Swindon and a 6-1 win against Middlesborough.
