FISHING fans are to face new rod licence fees, after a review by the Latchford-based Environment Agency.
From April 1, the price of a full licence will rise by £1, while the cost of a concessionary licence will increase by 50p. The increase in duties will be used by the agency to continue its extensive programme of fisheries restoration, restocking and habitat improvement.
