CROSFIELDS were focused for the second meeting in a week with Daten and won 6-4.

Soap showed their focus in the early exchanges of Saturday's Mid-Cheshire Soccer League game as the visitors struggled to get a foot-hold in the game.

After missing a couple of chances Saunders opened Crosfields' account from close range.

Crosfields went 3-0 up thanks to a rare double strike by Benson.

Daten's first attempt on goal came via a penalty in the 60th minute with Stephenson scoring.

Saunders put the game out of reach with a well-taken goal.

Daten scored their second to give them a glimmer of hope but it was to no avail as their ragged defence conceded two penalties converted by Turner.

Slack defending in the 90th minute allowed Daten to score twice, leaving the scoreline not reflecting the game as Crosfields dominated throughout.

This week Crosfields travel to top of the table Golborne Sports for a mouth-watering battle which will kick-off at 2.15pm.
