SCHOOLS across Warrington are to receive an education pack as part of a festival which ties in with the Commonwealth Games, being held in Manchester later this year.
The education packs will be delivered to 30,000 schools in the UK as part of the Spirit of Friendship Festival, which will celebrate sport and culture with events scheduled throughout the country in the lead-up to the Games.
Drawing on the rich multi-cultural heritage of the Commonwealth, the education pack investigates issues of citizenship, including human rights and cultural diversity.
