SEEING the distressing photograph of Alma Swindells on the front of the Star brought back memories of working in security for the past 25 years and how these robbers prey on the vulnerable and elderly.

They have no feelings for the victims.

Purse dipping and bag snatching have got worse over the years, especially at Christmas time.

Why don't manufacturers design a money/personal belt bag to fit secure around the body and stomach, available to those who would like to purchase one at a reasonable cost? As well as cutting crime, it would give the wearer a feeling of security.
