WARRINGTON Wolves have made two of their players available for transfer following Friday's disaster showing at Wigan.

Centres Dale Cardoza and Kevin Crouthers have been released from first team duties and new clubs are being sought for them.

They were two of many players who did not show pride in the primrose and blue shirt when a Wigan team minus seven of its likely Challenge Cup final players piled on the agony for rock bottom Wolves on Friday.

It was Warrington's sixth defeat on the trot.

To rub salt into Warrington's wounds -

* Full back Lee Penny left the field with a broken wrist on his comeback after three games absent with two broken fingers.

* Wolves may have to face London Broncos at Wilderspool on April 30 without their regular hooker if Jon Clarke is found guilty of a 24th minute punch on Wigan's Mark Smith. The incident was placed on report and he has been called to answer his case before Rugby Football League disciplinary chiefs today, Tuesday.

* Unhappy and frustrated Wolves fans were squabbling among themselves. Some fans were chanting for the board to be sacked, some were calling for former assistant coach Paul Cullen to be put in charge while others, although frustrated, were willing to give the current set-up more time. Wigan's ground stewards had to step in. Some fans were so disappointed that they went to the bar before half-time and never returned.

Warrington's dismal run moved on to one win from seven Tetley's Super League 2002 games.

Wigan clocked up a point per minute for the opening 18 minutes to effectively wrap up their first win in three league outings.

Penny scored Warrington's only try, when Wigan were already 18-0 ahead.
