AMOS Wright recorded his second eight-ball break of the season as Rudheath strengthened their claim for the Northwich and District Pool League Division One title with a 6-1 demolition of Coachman A.
Second placed Coachman B also won 6-1, at Blue Barrel, taking them nine points clear of Barnton British Legion in what looks like being a battle for runners-up spot. Winnington Park won at the Phoenix and Greenbank beat Gladstone A.
At the top of Division Two leaders Green Dragon B stretched their lead after an important 5-2 victory over Chapels Wine Bar.
Witton Chimes kept their chance of the runners-up spot alive with a 7-0 whitewashing of White Barn, while Old Crown remained in contention with a 5-2 win at Beech Tree.
