BARNTON opened up the biggest glimpse of daylight between themselves and Cheadle Heath yet in this season's title race.
They beat Crewe FC 3-0 last Tuesday while Cheadle drew at home to Linotype, leaving Barnton two points clear with a game in hand.
This position was maintained on Saturday as both sides won emphatically, the champions seeing off Poynton.
Aiden Brodigan set up three goals from corners, the first two both met by the head of Steve Davies in the 18th and 23rd minute.
Barnton relaxed with the early two-goal cushion and a Poynton back header went in for an own goal in the 33rd minute.
The fourth and final strike arrived in the 63rd minute, this time Hennin helping himself to Brodigan's service.

Cheadle Heath were due to host Crewe last night (Tuesday), and Barnton's next league game will again be against Poynton, this time away from home next Tuesday.
